Overview

The project is for designing and development of Oman Electricity Market Portal. The primary goals of building the Oman Electricity Market website are to comply with the market rules, create awareness of Oman Electricity Market and publish market information for public education and access, in accordance with the market rules.

Business Need

The Market Rules for the Oman Electricity Market requires the Market Operator (OPWP) to establish and operate a Market Website for the publication of market related information to the general public.

Solutions

The electricity market portal was developed to show all electricity related real time data from all power stations in Oman. All data is received from Market Management System(MMS). We developed API’s which is consumed by MMS system and it pushed the data to our database using our API. The portal will be developed in ASP.NET and MsSQL database with all security standards.
