Overview

GulfCyberTech designed and developed a comprehensive Rehabilitation Management System for the Ministry of Social Development to digitally manage rehabilitation services provided to persons with disabilities and their families.

The Taheel platform brings together persons with disabilities, parents and families, government rehabilitation centres, private rehabilitation centres, centre employees, and Ministry officials through a single electronic platform. Its objective is to simplify access to rehabilitation services and improve the efficiency of service delivery.

The project includes:

  • A public-facing web portal

  • A parent and family service portal

  • A rehabilitation centre management application

  • A Ministry administration and approval system

  • A mobile application for parents and families

  • Dashboards, reports, notifications, and integrations

Business Need

The Ministry required an integrated digital platform to replace manual and disconnected rehabilitation service processes.
The system was required to:
  • Allow parents to apply for rehabilitation services online.
  • Enable parents to register children with rehabilitation centres.
  • Allow parents to monitor their child's rehabilitation progress.
  • Manage government and private rehabilitation centres.
  • Automate registration, evaluation, training, observation, and review processes.
  • Provide structured approval workflows for Ministry officials.
  • Maintain complete electronic records for each rehabilitation case.
  • Improve communication between parents, centres, and the Ministry.
  • Provide dashboards and reports for monitoring rehabilitation services.
  • Provide mobile access to important parent services.

Solutions

GulfCyberTech developed a fully customised web and mobile solution covering the complete rehabilitation service lifecycle.
The web application provides separate functions for parents, rehabilitation centres, centre employees, and Ministry officials. The mobile application is designed mainly for parents and families, enabling them to access important services and follow up on children registered with government, private, and community rehabilitation centres.
The system supports the process from the initial rehabilitation request through registration, assessment, programme planning, attendance, training, regular evaluation, progress monitoring, service completion, suspension, or transfer.
